Spring is an absolutely stunning time of year to get married in Queenstown, especially if you want to take advantage of the beautiful views and take a helicopter trip to get some amazing photos! You still get photos with snow capped mountains in the background but it's just a little bit warmer making it easier to deal with! 😁
I had the pleasure of doing Natalie's and her two bridesmaids makeup at the end of October 2015 for her spring wedding in Queenstown. I created this look using all M.A.C Cosmetics, on the eyes I've used the colours Kid, Texture and Embark and Lingering pencil in the brows.
For the contour I've used the blush colour Harmony and for the cheeks I've used Modern Mandarin. For the lips we just used Subculture lip pencil with a clear gloss, as Natalie didn't feel comfortable wearing lipstick so this was a great alternative to still add some colour to the lips.
For the lashes I've used individuals and double stacked them in the out corners to give them a fuller look.
For the bridesmaids we created a similar look using the same colours on the eyes and face as all the girls had very similar skin tones. This makeup look worked perfectly with the blush coloured bridesmaid dresses and the beautiful flowers.
I absolutely loved working with Natalie and this makeup look is definitely one of my favourites. It's always so rewarding when brides leave you lovely feedback like Natalie did. 😇
